We ate here multiple times during our stay in Italy. We happened to kinda stumble upon it. We were staying in an AirBnB close and found that the area of San Jacopino was a great place away from all the city center to grab food. Pizza was super yummy, staff super friendly. We enjoyed both experiences we had visiting here for dinner!

This place was so good that I came back every night of my trip! The Quattro Formaggi pizza here is honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life — perfectly crisp crust, multiple amazing cheeses, and so much flavor. Ahmed made the experience even better. He was so friendly, welcoming, and always made sure everything was perfect. You can tell he really cares about his guests and loves what he does. I'd had a horrible day and he made it much better :) If you’re in Florence, don’t miss this place. Incredible food, great atmosphere, and Ahmed will make you feel right at home! ????????

I was craving pizza with mushrooms (which are in season now) and found the best spot! Right next to the hostel I was staying at. The people are friendly and this is the BEST pizza I've had in Italy. Open late as well which is great!

**Absolutely the Best Pizza on Our Trip!** We ate here in the middle of our journey around Italy, and without a doubt, this was the best pizza we had the entire trip. We were staying at a nearby B&B, and I was instantly drawn in when I caught the incredible aroma while walking by. I knew we had to try it — and I’m so glad we did. Everything we ordered was delicious. The pizza was outstanding, with a perfectly crisp yet airy crust and rich, flavorful toppings that tasted fresh and authentic. Their brick oven is absolutely incredible— it gives the pizza that perfect char and deep, smoky flavor that you can’t get any other way. You can really taste the difference. If you’re looking for something truly delicious and affordable — without the touristy hype of the “famous” spots — this is the place to go. Don’t let the simple exterior fool you. This is genuine, unforgettable pizza made right.

We had such a wonderful experience here! The staff and owner were fantastic! Antonio even came out to say hello, which made it feel so welcoming. Our waiter, Ahmed, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the sweet potato fries were honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. The cozy patio in the back was intimate and charming, perfect for a relaxing meal. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience!

A true gem. My partner and I went because it was recommended by the apartment we were staying in nearby, and it was absolutely the right choice. The place is small, very cozy, and has a really homely feel. The owner and the staff member were very friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. We were surprised that there weren’t many people when we went; I imagine it’s because of the location, since it’s not in the most touristy area. Even so, it’s definitely worth the visit. The pizzas are excellent: perfectly cooked dough, high-quality ingredients, and very well-balanced combinations. On top of that, the prices are more than reasonable for what they offer. We left delighted and would go back without hesitation. Greetings from Spain!

The pizza and service was amazing. Definitely recommend getting an individual pizza and you are sure to have leftovers for later. Can’t go wrong with anything you order. The desserts were also delicious and one tasted similar to a rum cake. Our server Maria was really great and engaging. Highly recommend this place.

I came alone at a busy time so it took some time to be served, even after several polite ‘scusi’. Another italian duo were seated before me and a couple of take away clients served before me even though I was first. I think locals should be prioritised for sure - there are too many tourists. But I felt personally in this case If the staff refuse to make eye contact and ignore you but serve others first - it is hard to not feel frustrated. I was worried I was not the right clientele (I am Asian and do not speak italian). But stayed patient and eventually I was seated and had the Mamma pizza, with the draft IPA. Perfect combination because the cheese was quite salty so the beer goes very well. It is two italian uncle type guys and one pizza maestro so on a busy night service can take a while. This is also part of good ambience, and after my presence was acknowledged I did very much appreciate this relaxed vibe. Great music, relaxed vibes, rich local ingredients. Real wood oven - later learned it is beech wood inside. Generous hosts once the crowd had died down. I’m sure there is a lot to juggle. All in all, I would return and support this local business!!! Two years in and deserving of praise. Grazie!
